One step at a time

I frequently use this phrase "one step at a time"... at various times.

For instance, I identified at least 10 postings in Ratology Reloaded and a few more in the limited number of postings I reposted in Down with Meds using the exact phrase "one step at a time."

The funnies thing about one step at a time is that, for all those who is lucky enough to walk, you can only walk one step at a time... however painful or strangely one might walk, or, however elegant or speedy you are.

Apparently, I am not the only person with the same realization....
