Security checks

When we think of security check, we might think of the security check we have to go through when boarding airplanes or going into some specific location such as the Whitehouse... 8-O

Yet, nowadays, you even need to go through security checks when taking the metro/subway in Shanghai... might have something to do with the World expo...

Although I did not take a picture myself, found a picture online to share with you...

Moreover, due to the expo, nowadays, if you get out of Shanghai city and want to get back, the officers with a really serious look would stop your vehicle to check your ID... Absolutely reminding me of going through the boarder between Canada and the US by automobiles....

The other day, when I was coming back from Hangzhou, after the toll, there was another gate where drivers have to stop the car and everyone in the car needs to produce a form of ID such as passport etc.

Funny enough... some people living in Shanghai don't even know about this policy..... 8-O 

I had wanted to take a picture except for I was afraid that they might thought I were a terrorist...

Well... leave the scene to your imagination... and remember to bring your ID such as passports with you if you need to reenter Shanghai even though all that you do is travelling to a different province but within the country.
