Laughing

I have heard people complaining about my propensity to be laughing my head off at things in very inappropriate manner.

I didn't know, at times, why such things are not laugh-able and why others would be puzzled.

Certain people have even suggested that my inappropriate laughs might have something to do with my mental health condition.

Then, tonight I took my mom out for dinner after a whole night and day's hard work for our first flea market experience.

We sat there, thinking back at:
  1. All the work we put into preparing the items to bring with us the whole night,
  2. The amount of work involved for my mom to drag that broken luggage to get on to the bus and transfer to the train in order to get to the destination
  3. Staying out by the riverside for the whole afternoon in the winter's cold
We calculated also the amount of money we put into transportation...
  1. 4 dollars bus for mama
  2. 4.5X2=9 dollars senior ticket for the train
  3. 6.5x2=13 dollars off-peak ticket for me
All the transportation cost total up to 4+9+13=26 dollars.

While we were sitting there eating our dinner to celebrate our first experience to sell things in the Flea market, both of us thought of all the things we put into making that 4-5 dollars... and, hysterically we laughed ourselves into tears.

If you ask us why, we can't really tell you why, we just think this is pure funny.

Some people might think this is pure waste of time, energy, and resources.

For us, it is an experience we had never had before and we enjoyed the companies we had.

For my mama and I, we had the chance to go visit the riverside park of Dobbs Ferry, where we saw happy birds resting in peace.

There is something comical about the whole experience but we can't tell you what exactly is comic about the whole trip.

My mama thought... it is just the perspective you take... which reminds me of a tale told by a friend of mine about his mother.

He said that, when his mother came back from the casinos happily, he was told that she won 400 dollars. (or amounts close to such)

He, then, asked, "How much did you bring with you?"

Apparently, she brought with her 2000 dollars and came back with 400 dollars. In her mind, 400 dollars were considered her winning.

I think this is another example of taking perspectives...

The biggest problem I face is that... if I can't even describe the funniness of it, how could I explain to you why it is funny?
