When the head fails to start and
tightens up like a rock

t's the best time to watch the passers-by
strolling up and down the block
to imagine
or, at least, to feel
what it be like
void of my head status

And I thought...
the meds have to come down
waiting for Wednesday to arrive
impatiently I count second by second
tick tock tick tock
